Anpu has been embalmed into the Egyptian society by their acts to achieve afterlife.  Anpu is one of the gods of Egypt and Anpu has greatly influenced them to honor the dead.  Death is a main part of Egyptian society, especially how they honored the dead through the rituals that Anpu had done. Egyptian society has engraved Anpu into their society through their actions. The ability to achieve afterlife has greatly affected the actions of the Egyptians towards the deceased along with the actions toward others.
